The GTEC Board Range

 

The GTEC board range from Lafarge Plasterboard offers standard boards, specialist boards for wet, heavy duty and ceiling applications and high performance boards to meet Building Regulations Part E (Acoustic), Part B (Fire) and Part L (Thermal).

 

GTEC Aqua Board

GTEC Aqua Board is the ideal tile backing board for use in wet and high humidity areas such as bathrooms, wet rooms, saunas and swimming pools. Designed as an alternative to traditional cement particle boards, GTEC Aqua Board is up to 30% lighter than cement particle boards and is the UK’s first gypsum board for wet area applications. Aqua Board also offers water resistance, protection from mould and fungus and can be left directly exposed to all weather conditions once installed on a frame for up to 6 months.

GTEC Fire Board

Providing fire resistance with up to 60 minutes fire rating (dependent on system used) GTEC Fire Board Meets Part B Building Regulations (Fire) and is suitable for stud partitions, lining systems and ceilings.

GTEC Megadeco

The GTEC Finish Range

 

Lafarge GTEC taping and jointing systems are used for the seamless jointing of plasterboard. All our joint compounds finish white, are exceptionally smooth, and easy to sand for a very fine finish.
