Reclaimed Softwood Grade 1

Species: Douglas Fir or Maritime Pine
Characteristics: Four good square sides, minimal defects/splitting, consistent quality, size & shape, square ends with minimal splitting. Creosote treated (must be handled with gloves & usage restrictions apply)
Applications/ideas: Very popular for landscaping uses, such as decorative features, retaining walls, steps and raised beds. Also popular with golf courses for bunkers and raised tees.
New Brown Treated Softwood
Size: 2400mm x 250mm x 125mm
Species: “Homegrown” UK softwood
Characteristics: A very popular sleeper that will produce a crisp, neat landscaping look with the option of staining. Bleeches brown/grey after approx 6 months in the sun and can be further treated at that stage. Easily cut by chainsaw, circular saw or even handsaw.
Applications/ideas: Very popular for landscaping uses, such as decorative features, retaining walls, steps and raised beds. Suitable for creosote free zones, and ideal for childrens play areas, water features and all popular areas around the home.
New Green Oak
Size: 2600mm x 200mm x 120mm
Approx weight per sleeper: 80kgs
Species: European Oak
Characteristics: These oak sleepers have been “freshly” cut and are stored outside. They will gradually weather to a silver grey colour depending upon exposure ot the sun. 100% organic, no creosote and extremely durable due to the natural oils and dense grain. Will age and season gracefully. Applications/ideas: New oak railway sleepers have numerous uses both inside and outside the home including; patios, beams/lintels, fire surrounds, garden furniture, bridges, steps, rustic-pathways, edging, raised flower/vegetable beds, decorative features etc…
