Cladding

Timber cladding in all manner of shiplap patterns is now a very popular material for renovation and new build projects.  It is replacing brick or rendered finishes with a sustainable option that comes in a choice of finishes.

The majority of architects, designers, specifiers and contractors have now overcome any previously held doubts about the sourcing, preservation and durability of the various species of softwood and hardwoods used today. Cedar, Siberian Larch, Chestnut and Scots Pine are now in frequent demand for this easy to use, appealing, durable, environmentally friendly, sustainable timber product.

This system of cladding allows for great flexibility in design and can be used for any scale of building project.  These lightweight cladding materials can compete on cost, performance and environmental credentials against all other alternative cladding materials, added to which there are so many patterns, species of wood and dimensions to choose from.  The species, grade and quality of the materials you use for your cladding will affect the life, appearance and maintenance of the wood.  Cladding can be applied to your build in any of three directions - horizontal, vertical and diagonal.

FSC-Certified and PEFC-certified products are available.
